That’s exactly what I said it was rushed. and the whole point of these vaccines being ready in the next few months was that they were being rushed. I’m not saying the vaccine isn’t effective I’m just saying that sometimes rushing it doesn’t have the perfect track record.
Some of the volunteers received the second shot for Phase 3 for one of the vaccines ten days ago. Some may have received it earlier (don’t know). A Phase 1 subject received a shot in February. At least one of the development efforts went well beyond the safety and effectiveness requirements. All of the testing could be wrapped up in well under two months because of the great results so far. With manufacturing being done concurrently, the vaccine will be safe and distributed soon.
