Mine too. Back when there were but eight teams per league, no divisions, and no such thing as a "designated hitter."

I understand that even the National League will have a sub bat for the pitcher in the shortened season.

What's next? Wear a batting helmet in the field to deflect line drives so players don't get de-faced?
