They used to fly over my house every day when I was a kid. I lived near Westover AFB.
A few years ago one flew through the area. I must admit to recognizing that noise, almost 45 years later. It brought me back to ‘72.
I used to visit my aunt in Tucson, a few blocks from Davis Monthan (sp?) AFB, and those monsters flew real close on landing. Shook our socks off. But as a pre-teen, I loved it.
