I don't think anyone doubts the dems will try something. You'd be a fool to not think so.
But the thoughts in this article read like the amateur hour. They will be looking for a much cleaner victory than the plan here would give them. I haven't given it too much thought but nothing will surprise me. And I do mean nothing.

True, but generally speaking the Jews didn’t have tens of millions of guns and 1 billion rounds of ammunition.
We are smarter than pre-WW II Germans, and don’t have the same economic incentive to elect LIEberals that the average German had to vote for Hitler.
You will recall that pre-WW II Germany was in a horrendous depression caused by the provisions of the Treaty of Versailles.
