Let me guess without even looking. “Ram” means that a person drove very slowly while a crazed gang of thugs beat on their car and tried to stop them.

That's basically correct. The crowd was illegally blocking the street, and you could hear the driver of the car honk several times for them to move. They refused, so he slowly drove forward to get out of a potentially dangerous situation. It didn't look like anyone was hurt, and the driver wasn't trying to "ram" anyone.

Let me guess without even looking. Ram means that a person drove very slowly while a crazed gang of thugs beat on their car and tried to stop them. That was my guess, but I was wrong. The person was surrounded and panicked. They stomped on the gas and got the hell out. It could have been bad, but (luckily for the driver) everyone scrambled out of the way and no one was hurt. These idiot "protesters" deserve what they get if they go into the street and intimidate people in cars. That is not legitimate protesting. That said, had anyone been seriously injured or killed, the driver would need a very good lawyer. Both criminal and civil.
