In cities run by democrats for 50+ years.

With black mayors, black police chiefs and black district attorneys.

How does that work?

THEY ARE THE SYSTEM.

That’s why they’re professional athletes and not brain surgeons.

Right - sports kneeling during the national anthem shows that colleges are coddling sports students and not teaching them simple math and reading skills.

The Democrat party (and the left in general), have been trying to make black people deathly afraid for decades.

So now professional athletes need stats facts and data that is not relevant to bouncing or throwing a ball. They need a wake up call, hope America gives it to them. Im still skeptical

Athletes are celebrities. Celebrities have an exceptionally low bar when it comes to facts or, even, intelligence. They parrot what is “popular.” They aren’t serious thinkers, nor is it expected they will be. They are a barometer and a creator of what is popular culture. Their aim is not to enlighten, but to stay popular. Thus, they can say one thing today and its opposite tomorrow with no sense of cognitive dissonance, since they don’t evaluate themselves, nor does anyone else, on content. They are evaluated on how popular they are. How many retweets and “likes” did they get?

Since nothing I said above is amazing, or insightful, I wonder why what celebrities say is ever, ever in the “news.” Why do we pay attention? Ignore them and they all become that meme of the woman screaming at the sky because Hillary lost. (By the way, has anyone looked up that scream-at-the-sky woman since she has become the go-to meme depicting insane Leftists? Enquiring minds want to know.)

Did anybody think these players had a semblance of intelligence? They’re good at sports and parroting commie language.

Just once I would like to hear a reporter as someone like Rivers: “Would you admit that there is a large criminal element in the Black community?”

It may take a couple of seasons for their actions to work its way through sports revenue stream. But, eventually as revenue drops salaries and new contracts will diminish. Maybe a few small market teams will go bankrupt causing leagues to reconfigure. I’m guessing as people learn that they can live quite well without pro sports it will be reflected in teams P&L’s....

BLM does not care about the data. They are an ignorant mob trying to create racist unequal rights for themselves.

Professional athletes are mostly idiots. There are notable exceptions like Ben Watson and a handful of others, but they are exceptions.

When I was younger I did a few things and carried an image that tended to attract police attention. Nowadays I don’t do that stuff and guess what....police leave me alone.

Just some common sense stuff that these folks should look into one of these days.

Would it be helpful if officers wore body cams?

It would be MORE 'helpful' if all we 'citizens' wore them; and GPS locators; too!

And; quite possibly; Collars of Obedience.

Racism is a learned behavior. What blacks need to be asking themselves is why are they treated differently than other minorities? If they are honest, it's because of the way blacks behave in society. Like it or not, the perception of all blacks is etched by the behavior of a few.

This is a black problem that needs to be addressed by the black community. Personally, I think it all started with Johnson's War on Poverty that rewarded families with higher subsidies when the father wasn't present. The result has been 72% of black kids have no father figure in the home. It's easy to be a father, much harder to be a parent.

In their minds believe it or not I would wager that they believe the reason they shoot each other white man’s fault.

I agree, except... it's not really "a few," is it? It's a good 30% at least, from what I've seen.
