He briefly played for the Boston Red Sox in 1986 season. I was at Fenway for one of his games. That was also the breakout year for Roger Clemens.

Doesn't seem that long ago. Hard to believe he was 75.

When I lived in Boston I specifically went to see him pitch for the White Sox. Not the pitcher he was before, but he pitched well.
