When Joe Does Iraq

As Vice President, Joe Biden’s performance in Iraq was worthy of his administration’s junior varsity mentality.

We had found an ally that was willing to fight the terrorist of Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) with us (the tribal leaders of the Anbar Awakening). Sadly, most of those freedom fighters are dead today because of the poor policy decisions and neglect of the Obama-Biden White House.

The horrors and devastation that the people of Iraq and Syria went through, such as the biggest urban battle since Stalingrad in Mosul, and the biggest refugee movement since WWII in Syria, were the direct result of the actions of Obama and Biden.

The Author points out that Obama/Biden deliberately scuttled the Status of Forces Agreement with Iraq (which provided an excuse for a complete and unconditional US withdrawal, before security was established, throwing Iraq to the wolves).

He does not mention that Obama/Biden also released all the worst war criminals from US Detention at Camp Bucca, including Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, and current leaders of Iran's militias inside Iraq.

He does points out that Iranian-supporting Shi'ites were allowed to consolidate control of the Government (but didn't mention how Obama/Biden undercut the Pro-American moderate Shi'ite Allawi, who actually got more votes).

He mentions that Obama/Biden allowed the pro-Iranian Shi'ite Government to run roughshod over the Sunni minority without consequences (but not the covert support that Obama/Biden's Turkish friend Erdogan provided to ISIS - including US weapons like TOW missiles).

When ISIS swept to power in the Anbar, they came with carefully prepared kill lists of America's allies in the Awakening Movement (al Sahwa), with pictures and addresses. Most were executed within the first 24 hours.

That is what happened to America's friends, and American interests, when Joe did Iraq.

Joe also had Hunter, a ne'er do well son willing to do the dirty work for the trio's "federal inheritance."

Obama avoided "governing" like the plague for fear he'd have to accept responsibility for his decisions.

Back then, Joe claimed they found "an ally" willing to fight the Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq.

Sadly, most of those freedom fighters are dead today because of the poor policy decisions and neglect of the Obama-Biden White House.
