Rep. Ken Buck, R-Colo., on Sunday called for a Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation into the funding of recent violent protests that have sprung up across the country, echoing statements made by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who was recently attacked while with his wife during the Republican National Convention.
"The Justice Department needs to open an investigation into who is funding these violent riots," Buck tweeted.
Buck had first addressed the issue after Paul and his wife Kelley were accosted while returning from the RNC, on the way back to their hotel.
"If the Tea Party threatened a Democratic Senator and assaulted police officers like this, it would be leading CNN," the Colorado Republican wrote on Friday. "Every conservative politician would be asked to condemn it. Where is the outrage?"

Why hasnt this already been done.... months ago?
It will all lead to SOROS.
Where was the outrage months ago
It is going to lead to Soros, what then, an arrest for
sedition and a revocation of his naturalized citizenship?
Why would he have to ask? Where is FBI Wray and AG Bagpipes Barr?
If only there was a Federal Investigation agency of some kind to handle these kinds of interstate, money crimes. Alas, all we have is an organization that is the dirty tricks wing of the Communist-Rat party that is committing crimes, not solving them. One that is solely concerned with toppling a duly elected President through illegal means.
Finally!! Good! Bout d@mn time!
Might as well ask for an investigation how an ineligible Kenyan from Indonesia got into the White House in direct violation of the Constitution.
-Fund local police
-Defund the FBI.
It’s about time. Let’s have at least one republican senator with a set of balls and I don’t count Murkowski.
They ought to wrap this investigation up by next January.
Why hasn’t George Soros been dragged into the Senate chambers for interrogation this morning, Mr. Buck? Why are members of the most powerful legislative body on Earth constantly trying to punt their responsibilities to other agencies to avoid angering their contributors?
Precisely! Seems all they do is “call for an investigation”. The list of indictments that these investigations has generated, could be printed on a thimble.
If the justice department has not done so already then it means that they are already not interested in doing so. The justice department has had plenty of time to follow that trail.
Its a fair question. Soros is untouchable.
Even several years ago we should have been investigating violent ANTIFA.
“The Justice Department needs to open an investigation into who is funding these violent riots,” Buck tweeted.
Pardon my incredulity, but I’m firmly convinced the Justice Department and all other Federal investigative and intelligence agencies know exactly the identity of the individuals and organizations that are funding this attack on America. THINK DEEP STATE!
