This election isn’t about getting Biden in the oval office it is about getting Kamala Harris there. The Democrats know Biden might be electable if they can keep him from going completely off of the deep end before election. After the election he bows out and we have Kamala

IIRC, Matt Lauer asked one very slightly, timidly confrontational question of her and she quickly ended the interview and went backstage and had a purple conniption fit screaming at her staff members in plain view of dozens of people.

I say the plan is to throw him into a debate and let him fall to pieces in front of the world. Then, declare him unfit to run and switch over to another pair of candidates.

I’m going to make what may be a Brash prediction. I believe that the Democrats will awake to the notion that Biden is leading them to defeat, and that within about 30 days we are actually going to see demonstrations demanding to replace Biden as candidate. I would recommend that any interested parties lay in what makes seem like Outlandish supplies of popcorn for this event.

On paper, Kamala Harris should be a perfect Democrat candidate. Then, she starts talking and interacting with people. That’s when it all falls apart.
Biden can’t do a tough interview, and he can’t really do debates. They might try to shoot him full of enough Adderall to get through one, if all possible excuses to cancel end up failing (mainly, the virus hoax). If that happens, the bar will be set so low that he will clear it. Every cheating angle will be played.
Biden literally has dementia. It’s not a meme or a joke or even a mean thing evil Republicans say about him because they are evil. The Democrats probably thought/hoped they could get through this without anyone pointing it out. Trump will point it out, even though other Republicans wouldn’t. This isn’t a game. We can’t have a POTUS with dementia. That’s ludicrous.
