Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan’s administration on Saturday said it fired an employee for posting “divisive images and statements” on Facebook regarding the shooting of protesters in Kenosha, Wis.

Arthur “Mac” Love IV served as deputy director of the Governor’s Office of Community Initiatives, which "connects Marylanders to economic, volunteer, and human service opportunities" and oversees the governor’s ethnic and cultural commissions, according to the Washington Post.

Love's social media posts were reportedly in support of 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, who is accused of fatally shooting two people and wounded another after traveling to Kenosha to protect businesses following the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Aug 23.

Larry Hogan is as leftist as the dumb liberal anti-Trump mayors.

Montgomery County Delegate Eric Luedtke reportedly took a screenshot of one of the posts, an alleged a meme of a police officer, which had the caption "DON'T BE A THUG IF YOU CAN'T TAKE A SLUG."

And now you know, the rest of the story ...

Perhaps Kyle Rittenhouse’s attorney’s firm could add Arthur “Mac” Love IV to their list of clients.

Would Governor Hogan’s administration fire an employee who posted something positive about Antifa or BLM activists?

I think not.

He’d never be voted in as governor if he weren’t. I knew he was bad when democrats were praising him before the re-election.

But if they’d supported the rioters they’d still be employed.

Seems more like socialist anti-social media!
No claim that he posted from his Gov. work station.
Freedom of speech for some but not others, all depending on the PC viewpoint.

This sort of garbage is why I wear a Southern Battle Flag whenever I have to wear a mask. It’s as far away from PC as I can get without being foul, which would probably be OK with the PC thugs.

This $hit has got to stop. If this guy posted his comments from his own home, on his own time, then there is no reason for him to be fired. He needs to get a good lawyer.

Maryland is such a D state that if an R gets elected there must be a ‘reason’

Well, the last R Gov in MD was Bob Ehrlich, if nothing else, sort of left leaning but not as bad as the current one who OPENLY opposes PDJT.
Oh, the LT GOV for Ehrlich was this Steele character who was a Black R (who ran RNC for a spell) put just put his name on the list of ANTI TRUMP/PRO BIDEN.

Now...the ‘reason’ (MY speculation but they are supposedly DEEP PURPLE)

When Ehrlich ran, the D was a KENNEDY WOMAN opposing him.
Ehrlich did a good job but O’Malley wiped the floor with him when he ran for his 2nd term. (O’Malley is White).

When Hogan ran the D was a BLACK male.

Notice an R gets elected when the Ds put up a F or B, coincidence? Maybe....but....

No, because MD Dems are racist AF.

We may regret it now, since he’s shown his blue soul, but the rest of us voted for Steele.

“After his loss in the chairmanship election, Steele was hired by MSNBC to be a regular political analyst as of May 2011.[7] He also was hired to be a columnist for the online magazine The Root, an African-American news and commentary site owned by The Washington Post Company”

You support him? Even if a Republican tries to outleft the left, they’ll lose on abortion or a numerous other issues.

MD, like CO, NJ, NH, VA, and NJ are long, long causes. PA is on the tipping point, and they are waiving towards Trump now. I think this election will be an early call and if Trump wins PA he wins it all. If he loses, it’ll be a similarly quick end.

Heck, I voted for McCain and Romney. The GOP reached a real low point during the late 2000’s until Trump.
