If he didn't, he's in tremendous pain now and forevermore as he burns in Hell...
Yes, indeed. You beat me to it.
Same for me. One second I was probably 90% conscious after some preop sedatives, conversing with the anesthesiologist, next second I’m waking up in post-op.
I have no problem with executing in a painless fashion.

Did Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ks) or whoever plead for his life? I think that this pussy is from Kansas. If not , someone please add the correct name.
Personally, I believe that Texas once had the proper procedure: ONE complete run through all the relevant appeals followed by hanging in the County Seat where the offense occurred.
NOTE: The WEIRDEST appeal of a death sentence that I’ve yet heard was filed when I was still on Army AD: A lawyer from KS filed an appeal with the federal court to “determine if death by lethal injection was ‘- - - safe & effective for the intended purposes’.”
(After the appeal was completed & the injunction was vacated, the inmate quickly expired from the effects of the State prescribed drug cocktail, so it WAS effective.)

lethal injection, to kind
If you have a moment, GO TO THE FACEBOOK PAGE OF DEATH PENALTY ACTION AND MOCK THEIR SICK “GRIEF” over this monster’s execution. They actually have a post up where they boo hoo about this guy. Without a word about his victim.
A couple months ago when this group was crying about the federal execution of another child killer, I posted something like “Seriously? You’re mourning someone who strangled an 8 year old girl”
After you point out their moral bankruptcy, they will eventually remove your post and block you - but they still deserve to hear from normal people about their misplaced sympathies.
Not justice, too clean. Bring back Sparky!! Or look at my tag line for a better way.
I want more info about Blake’s history of sexual assaults made public.
There is no simple, or in some cases humane way, to handle violent psychotic crime. And in far more cases than the other, there doesn’t seem to be any way to combat the actions except permanent lock down or termination. We do it with animals all the time and consider it useful. When a human, who is an animal, turns violent, is it almost the same as they no longer have the ability to reason? And that ability is the only thing that separates us from the higher animal forms.
