Amen to that! Realistic and regular training will help remove or at least lessen the reluctance to use a weapon when the situation requires that.
Also, it’s better to not run straight into a violent mob. Better to stand and defend your own home or business (or that of family/friends). Like the McCloskeys.
Kyle may have shot that weapon in “defense” but he exercised poor judgement running straight into the fire.
