Not shy, smart. They don’t want to be doxxed.

I’m one who doesn’t answer the phone unless I recognize the number-I don’t take part in surveys/polls/ etc or anything else involving ANY of my info-I also use my phone for work-I don’t have time for non-business calls unless I know the caller..

So you see there are probably LOTS of us Trump voters that don't talk to pollsters.

Shy?

Shy is now synonymous with angry.

I’m thinking you are right-I don’t know anyone who talks to pollsters-if someone gets a call on a jobsite, they look at the phone, if they don’t recognize the number, they say must be a sales call and they ignore the call-I can’t imagine where pollsters find people to ask questions about anything-most conservatives don’t give info on the phone to strangers-nobody’s business-so does that mean that liberals just talk to anyone who calls them about how they vote? That is dumb...

I haven’t been asked but I’d tell them Biden.

I don’t think I’d have a problem telling a poster who I was voting for one ever called me. I’m 71 years old and I’ve never been called.

Same here. I have found there are plenty of folks that will stand behind me though. They just don’t want to take the arrows.

Comparing party ID as a way of gauging who has more hidden support is flawed. Why assume that the Democrats who won’t give their real preference are for Biden, as they seem to think? I think the people not giving their true preference are probably Trump voters for the most part, regardless of party ID.

“Some Trump supporters don’t answer any phone calls from numbers not recognized.”

That is my policy. Why should I interrupt whatever I am doing to talk to someone I don’t know? If it is important, they can leave a message.

“So you see there are probably LOTS of us Trump voters that don’t talk to pollsters.”

I know people who lie to them. If that causes them to misallocate resources, such as HRC did in MI in 2016, then it is a good thing.

And a lot of these homes have had conservative yard signs in the past.

Near me the ones with 2016 Trump signs are the foundations with charred rubble on top and an overturned pickup burned down to its frame. No "freedom of expression" in sight around here. No-sir.

Did it not occur to these meta pollsters that the same people who are too “shy” to reveal their preferences about Trump are ALSO too “shy” to say so???
