In many “food deserts”, regular supermarkets will be replaced by pre-paid, curbside or delivery only, since the stores can’t afford to have regular stores in areas where they suffer from high shoplifting, damage and spoilage rates by customers and employees, and regular armed robberies and assaults of the stores and customers.

Many people (obviously all of the Democrat base) don't understand the economics of a store. Stores have something they call a margin which represents the difference between the overheaded cost of the items sold and the price they charge. to stay in business and make a profit the number of items sold times the margin has to be a positive number. Grocery stores in particular have very narrow margins.

Here is a math problem for the hood. Suppose Mr patel has a $.25 profit margin on a two dollar loaf of bread and steaks cost $10 and have a $2 dollar profit margin. If Dontarius steals two steaks how many loaves of bread does Mr Patel have to sell to break even before he starts to make money? (for those of you who live in the Bronx and voted for the Cortez nitwit the answer is 64.)

Part Two assuming that Mr patel sold just enough bread to cover his losses on the steaks and at that point Tyrone robs Mr patel how much money does Tyrone get? $128 again here is the answer for any of you who voted Democrat

Stealing seems to be rampant in the "food desert" neighborhoods
