Check tagline...6.5 creed so much overrated. There’s a reason the military uses the 300winmag and the 338LM as their long distance go toos. I own both in 30” plus custom rugar precision platforms either will walk circles around the 6.5 and if you need to make hits at 1600 plus meters the 6.5 barely gets there. The 338 and 300 both are still comfortably supersonic past 1600. I agree with the small teams though. I’d go for a classic 6 by 2s teams as in 3 teams of two men one observation the other as triggerman. Pop some melons and the commies scatter like the roaches they are.

Agree, JD, on the 300WIN mag and especially the 338LM for those super long shots for sure. Great calibers for that. Also agree on the 6.5 Creed being over-hyped/advertised for those same long distances.
Actually I still shoot an old customized .260 Rem for intermediate ranges, say 500-600 yard shots, primarily utilizing 140gr SMKs which seem to do quite well in that rifle. Been shooting that caliber as a wildcat long before it ever became a commercial cartridge. I also like it because I can utilize common .308/7mm-08 brass to make some really nice customized loads, and the recoil is still relatively light, I can comfortably and economically shoot it all day long, but I’m kinda old now...LOL.
Back to the mission at hand: keep in mind, this is primarily an urban setting that doesn’t lend itself to getting those super long shots all the time. Some maybe, but more for cover for the rifle teams and to neutralize their azzhole leaders on the very first volley. The small teams work the best for not “just popping a few melons” but to finish out a complete “mop up” operation too.
Do they really want to defund the police???? I don’t think so. The ONLY thing standing between them and us...the police. They have no idea the pure hell that’s gonna rain down on em without the police.
Is “rugar” a new brand? LOL! Yeah, butt evil ARs. These people really are fidiots. They don’t know that the AR is basically a .22 on steroids. A little heavier bullet and a big bump in muzzle velocity=more distance and less drop. Then again staring down the muzzle of a .22 pistol looks like a 16” bore battleship gun. Don’t ask how I know. Have a great Sunday.
