The media has delighted in hawking the numbers comparison between the Dem and Rep Conventions. Nielsen has a chart showing the numbers of viewers for the Conventions going all the way back to 1960.

I watch TV as often as I listen to the phonograph.

Overall the DNC had more viewers but just marginally. But the numbers are not reliable because streaming media sources such as RSBN, OANN etc are not included.

I never see CSPAN included in the TV viewership. I watch CSPAN so I don’t have talkingheads cutting in telling me what to think.
