No they get their water directly from the Catskills from reservoir lakes the city owns there.. They can augment in an emergency from the Hudson but that is rarely needed.

Get a reverse osmosis unit for your kitchen sink, or better yet to be piped to faucets at other sinks too. A number of the bottled water brands are just R/O water, maybe with some added minerals for marketing purpose. An example is Dasanai. You can make a gallon of R/O water for a few pennies. Almost as pure as distilled water.
Body condition/health is certainly a factor in partner selection-hardwired in the subconscious part of the human brain. No matter your age, both male and female want a fit, healthy partner-if they are just interested in having an ATM, or maybe an enabler for bad habits, then that is a whole different thing...

Judging from what I’ve seen most of the men I’ve seen have earned every bit of the “overweight” or “obese” category and it is not muscle mass. White or Hispanic, when they get to a certain age they just “blossom”. Heck, I’ve seen guys my age (early 30’s) who already have quite the spare tire going.
The only group that doesn’t seem to have a problem is Asians. Maybe they’re sticking to their traditional diets and not putting lots of processed crud in their bodies. I’m by no means perfect when it comes to eating right but so far so good when it comes to maintaining a healthy weight.
