You’ve never had military combat training, have you? I was taught that if you face a mortal threat you keep firing until the threat is neutralized. If that means emptying your magazine into the threat, you do it.

Hey brother, not only have I had combat training I have been under fire in combat several times. Served in Vietnam 1965 - 1966, central highlands, military police, supported 5th Special Group.
