Seems pretty clear that he was justified in shooting at them if they attacked him with a pipe. Which is good because it sounds like he may have been the one who shot the Antifa guy in the arm a little later. As it is, it sounds like both shootings were justified self defense.

The escalation to fatal gun violence wouldn’t have happened if the Democrat governor had accepted Trump’s offer of NG support. The fact that the rioters who got shot were white is going to make it harder for the gov to continue to turn down Trump’s offer.

Talk about perfect timing for convention week if Evers were to relent and the NG came in and decisively restored order for a change. The country would breathe a sigh of relieve and DJT would take credit during his speech on Thursday.
