Good morning!
Thanks for the Day 2 thread.
Nothing on my screen, yet...just folks standing in front of the stage.
The very fact that the President is thanking CNN for doing the ‘right thing’ has likely got them foaming at the mouth and writhing on their office floors.
I hope it wakes up Fox that they were a disgrace last night. I mean cutting out of the speeches to have Hannity interview Lindsey???
Woohoo! Thanks for setting this thread up!
My dad was looking forward to hearing what young Mr. Sandmann was going to say. He wasn’t sure when he was going to be on. I’ll have to inform him that he is speaking tonight.
Agreed. They didn’t carry the very moving beginning.
In fact, I didn’t see it on any of the stations, not even C-span
Tucker Carlson was on, and he brought in Brit Hume for commentary. The a-hole Brit went on to downplay and put down the energy of the speakers. Fox put up a poor picture of Kim Klacik. Very poor form!
I immediately switched to C-Span and had a great evening watching the convention uninterrupted and without stupid commentary.
Congratulations to the RNC for a great first night of the convention. Very interesting speakers and the interludes between the speakers were also great, with Mr. Trump and the hostages who were released, the critical workers (police, medical e.t.c), where he interviewed them, the two Hispanic sisters. Fascinating personal stories all.

Thanks, wasn’t aware of early broadcast.
Some of the speakers had me bleary eyed and almost in tears. I don't know how Andrew Pollack was able to do his speech, without breaking down. Natalie Harp, the bone cancer survivor, the powerful testimony of Maximo Alvarez, all great personal stories.
It was nice to see so many regular people speak, as opposed to celebrities and politicians. Interesting to see policy affecting individual lives of ordinary people.
Thank you Dolly and Nikos.
I didn’t see the very beginning either last night.
Was that the part narrated by Jon Voight?
I hope we can find that somewhere on Youtube.
Will there be activities early today or just tonight?
The link Nikos gave was for yesterday’s awesome events....great but just wondering if we can see anything today before tonight.
Enjoy the show!
Totally agree. All the speakers were incredibly moving and their words were heartfelt.
I especially appreciated the Cuban immigrant’s passionate words - comparing the Demonrat Socialists’ promises of Free Healthcare for all, free education for all, etc, etc, etc, to those of Fidel Castro.
That gentleman knows what he is seeing and it is hitting him in his gut.,....we must never let this happen to America!
Thank you for the ping!
