NYC has been dead to me for decades.
Even Rudy couldn’t generate any interest for me.

To tell the truth NYC has never been alive to me. Now with the riots in all of these major cities I can’t imagine why I would ever want to go.
I have been to a few major cities over the years and can’t think of any reason to go back to any of them except a stop at an airport to transfer to another plane.
I was in Seattle in February just before the whole mess started, it was a cesspool then, I can’t imagine what it is now.
Cities are just too many people in too small a space.
I know it’s just me but I would never live in those conditions willingly.
As it is, over the last 30 years the suburbs have begun to envelope my home and if I could convince my wife we would flee beyond their reach.
