Exactly - they don’t get what real enthusiasm looks like. They assume everything must be bought and paid like every phony thing they do.

If it wash’t for the benefits of looting, how many people have held a boat parade, or any grassroots event, for Biden?
It’s a smart idea, at least nobody can fault him for violating social distancing.
Although in one case, they got some hapless incompetent boater to capsize his boat during a Trump parade, so they could blame Trump for it.
I guess the point isn’t “the boat parade.” The “thing” is not relevant. What is relevant is the grass roots nature of it. There was little in terms of advertising or “coercion” in a marketing sense (in other words, there was nothing in it for the participants, other than being in it.)
The sheer numbers speak volumes.

I am in Alabama. Most boat owners I know are working class regular people. They had a huge Trump boat parade down on the coast several weeks ago. My son was there. There have also been numerous parades on lakes here too. We have a lot of water here in Bama.
