Re: Carter Page - naive victim?

I agree with your impression - his nonchalance about being a target of prosecution is not credible.

(1) Page politely introduced himself to his prosecutor in the Grand Jury hallway and expected what - a polite greeting and hand shake from the prosecutor?

(2) Page “eagerly supported Robert Mueller’s appointment.”

A normal informant would have been on the phone to his CIA-FBI handlers the first day this started screaming, “What the f*** are you guys doing to me!”

He would also be seriously worried that CIA-FBI would try to solve all their problems with a timely Carter Page “suicide.”

Page sent a letter directly to Comey on September 25, 2016

From the letter:

Having interacted with members of the U.S. intelligence community including the FBI and CIA for many decades, I appreciate the limitations on your staff’s time and assets. Although I have not been contacted by any member of your team in recent months, I would eagerly await their call to discuss any final questions they might possibly have in the interest of helping them put these outrageous allegations to rest while allowing each of us to shift ourattention to relevant matters. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
