Seeing in print in the @WSJ this list of Republican national security officials endorsing Biden is really something. This is basically every GOP luminary of the last 30 years ....

I'm not 'stuned'.
By now we know most of the Republicrats are just stealth Democrats and members in 'good standing' (or bad standing, as the case may be) of the Big State.
Trump against the 'Beast of Washington DC'. Fighting by himself, and fighting for America. The Deplorables are with him, but clearly the DC Denizens want him out.
We should all keep praying the Good Lord keeps and protect the President - man has an arm of flesh, but God is All Powerful. Whoever side He is on - wins.

Chris Shays and Chuck Hagel are on there - that tells me all I need to know about this bunch.

I’ve only heard of seven or eight of these “luminaries.”

ISIS, is and was the CIA.

Even Jihadi John and his snuff videos were staged events by Intelligence agencies. Hillary Clinton had Ghislaine Maxwells nephew appointed to an important post in Libya straight out of college.

THAT is what they support, and who they support. They are for continuous war, famine, plague and padding the pocketbooks with the blood fertilized spoils of war.

This is a testament to the damaging hold the Bush family has had on the GOP since the end of Reagan's administration. The worst mistake Reagan ever made was choosing HW to be his vice president.

I’d bet Rumplestiltskin my firstborn that most of these persons have their fingers in pies and resent having their grifting disrupted by Trump’s power shifting while knocking their playing pieces off the board. They no longer have any saleable influence.

Why didn’t they just call themselves the Military-Industrial Complex Hall of Fame?

Saddam had traditionally done that through out his reign. Like I said, I looked at this from a strategic point of view. I was only interested in projecting power from Iraq, and keeping them inline while we were doing it. Take a look at a map and you will see what I mean. And by the way, one of my targets would have been Saudi.

Of course, this is all in retrospect, because the situation that exists was caused by another Bush, because he didn't finish the job. And we could keep going back before Bush to other presidents and look at their screw ups. My starting point in all of this is quite different than official US foreign policy at any point in modern history. We need to recognize that our foreign policy has been screwed up since the beginning. It's not something we need to apologize or even talk about. We need to recognize that we are dealing with Muslims. They are members of a death cult, not a religion. We assert our power to achieve our objectives. It is simple as that. One of our major objectives has been solved at home - that is energy. The other major objective has yet to be accomplished, that is greater freedom with greater security. Our personal freedoms and liberties have eroded due to war on terror. I rather be killing Muslims than eroding our freedoms. Unfortunately we chose to do erode our freedoms while not eliminating the problem. So the threat of terrorism has not diminished and as soon as we have a weak president, it will come back again. I'm okay with the present détente. Trump carries a big stick. He needs too because Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama failed. It's time to do something about the other half of the problem, that being with our freedoms and liberties.

Chuck Hagel wasn’t a bad senator, IIRC; but he is typical of the GOP’s consistent inability to elect politicians with the fire-in-the-belly necessary to stand up to the fanatical RATs. Ironically, he and his friends on the list had much to with Trump’s election, in one way or another. Hagel served as Obama’s SECDEF for a couple of years. And that pretty much sums up his political savvy.

I am glad that most they held former positions, not that I believe many of the active members of DOS and HS will support Biden. Trump has not empowered the right person to weed these people out.

And Trump calls every one of them out - the “stupid people”. They just can’t handle the truth.

Much of the national security establishment is descended from the OSS. This wartime agency was riddled with Communists. Most of the Communists were weeded out but the progressives remained. Getting rid of them would involve firing 90% of each agency. They can sound conservative or patriotic but their actions are not. Soviet agent Harry Dexter White testified before the House and sounded like a super patriot.
