She (and he??) drags the 7 year old to an event which one with any sense should know the possibility of some ‘SchiffHittingTheFan’ may occur, then let him get far enough out of her range IN A HOSTILE ENVIRONEMENT so that an adult can attack him THEN tell him to go get his hat back?
I really can’t say what I would do in that situation because I would never put my family knowingly in harms way like that..
