My debate partner an I beat his team in debate in '84 at the Yale tournament, knocking them out of contention for the championship.

He looked old and frail even then. He had two different teammates depending on tournament (I only faced him once, but I was also a judge). One of his teammates barely cleared 5 feet and was still getting his suits from Robert Hall. The other one was also older looking. I'm not much of a fighter, and my Dutch teammate wasn't aggressive, but we both cleared 6', and my teammate Tasso was in decent shape. Yeah, we could have taken them in boxing, too.
