Well NY is broke — so they can’t afford the 25% state portion. Let us see how many states are willing to sign up. A lot of them are over extended. Every one is playing political games and this delay in unemployment checks can be dangerous. With extensive job losses, what is holding up the economy now is consumption. If that starts going down, many of the job losses can become permanent and we will have a real problem on our hands. I hope we will get this resolved soon.
