Corona and Floyd are the gifts that keep on giving. We have no remedy for it.
I wish Trump would put some pressure tweets on the FDA like he did Goodyear Tire.
How can the Deep State be so obstinate? It is a cancer upon America.
Depends on the state and jurisdiction. In Ohio, the state Pharmacy Diktat made it illegal for doctors and pharmacies to use hydroxychloroquine for off-label (CCPovid) use.
Although the decision was reversed days later, news of the reversal was very hush-hush, and hasn’t filtered down to doctors and pharmacies, so I can’t buy it here. In other states, doctors have been told any off-label prescription writing for hydroxychloroquine will lead to revocation of the doctor’s medical license.
Simple solution to the pandemic,,,,Make HCQ and Azithromycin OTC drugs so anyone who develops a cough and/or fever can go the nearest drug store and self medicate with the drugs along with Zinc Sulfate with correct dosage within 48 hours of symptoms and pandemic over.,,,,,instead of waiting a few days to get tested and 5 days for the results,,,,if over 60 years of age,,,,youre dead.
The FDA is caught in their own device. They cant allow use of HCQ now, as it would result in an immediate and dramatic drop in severe cases and deaths. That would expose for everyone to see that the bureaucrats lethal ban on its use up to now has resulted in thousands of preventable deaths. The demands for accountability of those responsible would destroy the whole fraudulent pandemic edifice, including the careers of the perpetrators..
Thanks to all for the responses. Appreciate it a bunch! I sure feel like a dim bulb sometimes. :-)
Hydroxychloroquine is an approved drug.
Any doctor can prescribe it for any reason. The FDA can refuse to grant an INDICATION for COVID, they cannot restrict prescribing.
I just signed the petition. We still need 83,000 more.

Is HCQ banned in your state? (probably not)

Due to an earlier thread where someone was voicing their anger towards President Trump seemingly not doing anything to allow people to have access to hcq, I decided to do the state by state research into which states have banned hcq and which ones haven’t.
The results are fairly surprising considering a group of doctors had a two day summit in DC campaigning for access to hcq. There are rules but not much for outright bans.
Most of the info comes from lupus.org (https://www.lupus.org/advocate/state-action-on-hydroxychloroquine-and-chloroquine-access) but in some cases I went to the state websites using links found on the above lupus.org state by state guide page.
State pharmacy boards are refusing to fill the prescription
Ie, practicing medicine without a license
Haha, yes I saw that one. It’s the main reason for my “dim bulb” comment about myself. :-)
Emergency use authorization (EUA) is for unapproved drugs.
Hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc sulfate are all approved drugs which can be prescribed by any physician for any reason.
Orders from governors OR from the FDA which pretend to constrain this privilege of a license to practice medicine are illegal. I’m not sure that State Pharmacy Boards can’t forbid licensed pharmacies to dispense them - but I doubt it. Someone should look into it.
