Riding in trucks and U-Hauls, vandals came to Chicago. They jammed the Magnificent Mile, the city’s most important shopping district. They came prepared with tools to pry open gates and take all the merchandise that they could pack. It was a strike directed at the heart of the city.
For months, the state’s attorney, the mayor, and the governor—have failed to condemn criminals or act with necessary force against such violence. They have contributed to a culture of impunity that tolerates mobs and hoodlums.
Kim Foxx has already become nationally notorious for refusing to prosecute Jussie Smollett, a provocateur who tried to fracture the city with a falsehood. Foxx dismissed felony cases at a rate 35 percent higher than her predecessor. She raised the threshold for felony shoplifting from $300 to $1,000—and as a result, thieves steal brazenly in broad daylight.
The state and city’s ineffective leaders are all the product of a progressive ruling elite that promoted them beyond their competence. Foxx is a graduate of Southern Illinois, one of the state’s weakest law schools.
Lori Lightfoot, Chicago’s first female black mayor never held elected office or had substantial managerial experience.
Pritzker’s main qualification for governor was that he had inherited a lot of money and thus could self-fund a campaign against Republican incumbent, Bruce Rauner, who paid for his campaign with money that he had made himself. Pritzker was not chosen to be put in charge of his own family’s businesses, progressives liked him enough to run him for governor without any political experience in order to stop Rauner.
Given their backgrounds, it’s no surprise that the trio of Foxx, Lightfoot, and Pritzker has done nothing to halt the state and city’s decline.
They have also failed to sustain the first condition of civilization: order under law.

Want to stop this new form of looting? Vehicles used in criminal acts are subject to seizure - with tag numbers and probable cause you could seize or impound them - make it very painful for anyone who owns or rents them.

The Chicago liberals are eating each other. This is not unexpected.
For those who haven’t heard due to the Nazi media blackout, here’s the background story:
At the end of May, the Nazi democrats ordered their BLM racists to attack and loot the Mexican neighborhoods. The Mexicans objected and set up barricades, manning them with individuals carrying AKs.
The BLM racists were pulled out of cars, beaten and chased back to their black ghetto neighborhoods. IOW, the black racists were pinned down in their neighborhoods and couldn’t move out.
So, the racists were confined to certain areas and could only act in specific neighborhoods. That included Michigan Avenue where the whites are too chickenshit to make a stand for their neighborhood, unlike the stand Mexicans made for their homes and businesses.
I fully expect that BLM in Chicago will collapse after it devours street after street. The Mexicans will kill BLM by the thousands if BLM dares to advance beyond its safe ghetto and wimpy white neighborhoods.
