Doesn’t the Queen (or her representative) have the authority to dismiss the government? IIRC the Queen’s representative dismissed the Australian government about 30 or 40 years ago.

In theory, the Governor General could drop her a note to dismiss the government, but it would be extra-ordinary to do that.
