Well, it WAS nice of him to bring the cake and ice cream for the celebration, but Petey shouldn’t have eaten MY slice. LOL!

Hoooray for the rain. I hope you get some more to settle all the grass mowing and cotton pollen. And just clean the air in general.

It was very nice of him to bring the goodies by. He did the same thing for my birthday a few months ago.

We’re glad to get any rain we can get but it didn’t exactly clear the air. It made the cotton spew pollen apparently. When I went out to empty the rain gauge at midnight my eyes and sinuses started burning and they haven’t settled down yet.

Ugh! Well, that’s no good. Stupid cotton. I hope he decides it’s not worth the hassle.

Well, it was a picture prefect day yesterday. Here are all the pics from Chisolm Trail Park.

Later today we got to the vet for Gizmo's monthly heart worm pill and his Zinc vitiman refill. We also plan on doing Wichita Ridge later today.

Sure isn’t good! I’d have loved to sit out on the carport for a bit since it’s nice and cool but nope. Not tonight!

I don’t see how it can be a profitable crop. He’s sprayed the fields I don’t remember how many times and that’s not cheap.

Sounds like it was a fabulous day for Gizmo. He go to burn off steam and got to visit his buddy, Ringo.

Growing cotton is tricky. So much can happen between now and when the bolls fill out.

Guess I’d better go. That movie lasted longer than I thought it would. LOL! Happens all the time.

There must be money in it somewhere because there are a few other fields around here besides ours. I just know he’s sprayed it a WHOLE lot more than he ever sprayed corn or soybeans, and that a lot of cotton is left on the plants after harvest. Wasteful.
