Where do you think volcanos come from? Mommy and daddy volcanos? Earth gets its interior heat from leftover friction from its original gravitational contraction and the decay of radioactive heavy elements in the core. There is also a theory that some nuclear fission of U-235 is still occurring there.
My question was when and how is the heat buildup released? Is it on a continuous basis, or in cycles? Are volcanoes able to handle increases alone, or maybe mid-ocean ridges unzip, etc?
“Earth gets its interior heat from leftover friction from its original gravitational contraction and the decay of radioactive heavy elements in the core. “
Gravity causes the condensation of the liquid outer core Releasing great amounts of heat.
