The last thing I saw was Stephen Stills playing the opening riffs of the song ‘For What It’s Worth,’ with some guy in a cape starting to sing it. They switched off of that and on to the news anchors real fast.
You really nailed it. I caught a glimpse of the convention participants and felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.
Their whole platform is oddly dated. They are still hung up on race & gender, while the rest of us moved on. They are trapped in adolescence. And there is nothing weirder than to see someone north of 40 still trying to act like a teenager.

NeverTrumpers are leaders of conservatism, in their own minds at least. There must be a grain of truth in their quilling beliefs because Trump won and had success as a true conservative. If George Will and Bill Kristol are the leaders/thoughtmakers of the GOP, it’s time for a third party of actual conservatives. Let the Chamber of Commerce have the GOP. They bought and paid for it after all.
