As a side note, does anyone remember the actual SS checks? They had those colored dots embedded in the paper as a security measure. So many blue dots, red dots, etc. per area of paper. I used to work at the company that made that paper. They closed in late 2001, not sure if another mill was making the same paper or if someone else took over. Or maybe that was when they went all electronic deposit.
