It’s in the Constitution. It’s not going anywhere.

The issue is their pension requirements are keeping the rest of the Federal Pension system solvent.

All of the post office stuff is BS. They can handle the volume. Most of the ballots won’t go out of their local carrier station.

The weak link is where the votes end up to be counted.

Correct me if I’m wrong but the Constitution gives Congress “the power” and “the responsibility” to establish post offices but I do not see where it is specifically mandated that they do so.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 7 gives Congress the power and the responsibility: “To establish Post Offices and post Roads.”
