I never understood the mentality of barricading ones self in a home during a gun fight. There is just no way this guy can win.
If he is by himself, all the cops have to do is wait him out.

Still ongoing... Officers were responding to domestic violence call. Suspect began shooting from 2nd story window. Suspect barricaded himself inside and has 4 hostages. Suspect does have an axe wound from one of the hostages.

Can’t they send in one of those robots, and have it release some kind of tranquilizing spray of gas?They did use a robot against a cop shooter in Dallas. It didn't have tranqulizing spray. But the pipe bomb worked just fine to end the solution. The cleanup was a bit messy.

Hostage should have used a power tool.
