There’s a reason the Founders set up the House for 2 year terms -— Representatives were to be citizen members for two years, after which another citizen would serve for two years. They knew that the Representatives would be a mixed bag. They NEVER meant for them to be there for decades. The “quality” of many Houses members is an absolute joke. Someone should start a referendum for a constitutional amendment to put term limits in place; I’m guessing it wouldn’t be difficult for 2/3 of the states to agree.
