There is a time for nonviolence and there is a time for “violence.”

The trick is to know when.

Knowing when it’s time for violence is tricky. My hope is never, but hope is not a strategy.

I don’t see any point in violence against their front-line “protestors”. It’s different if you have:

- a good vantage point, identification of Antifa terrorist leaders, and a scoped, silenced rifle (and, no, I don’t care if members of the inner core around a terrorist leader are also hit as collateral damage) . . .

- a small .22lr revolver with subsonic ammo, and a chance to approach an Antifa terrorist leader without the handgun being visible/filmed . . .

- non-visible tagging tools (for example UV markers/stickers), opportunity to approach and mark Antifa terrorist leaders, and the capability to then follow their leaders after the riots/arson/looting are complete.

On a different tack, it’s different if Antifa terrorists come to my neighborhood. Our police will respond - and they had better respond quickly if they don’t want a whole lot of autopsies and paperwork.

On a different tack, it’s different if a real American gets a terminal diagnosis but is temporarily healthy enough to act. If you had a year to live and the skills/energy to do something during the first part of that year, the mind boggles at the tasks that could be completed.

I’ve been firing 200-plus rounds a day to stay in training for several years. I’ve cut back with the ammo shortage, so that all but 10-20 rounds a day is now .22 LR, but I’m in training. Throw in losing 20 pounds, and I’m as ready as I’ll ever be to fulfill my oath. I just pray it won’t be necessary. [My optimism is limited after the attacks on Steve Scalise, Rand Paul, and numerous others, but I still hope America’s enemies will permit us to avoid a full shooting war.]
