Those 2 guys were credible (to Hynek too)...and quite shook up.

The young kid was almost catatonic! I remember thinking:
1) Someone has pulled a prank on them worthy of a Spielberg movie.
2) These guys are actors and deserve Oscars.
3) "Something" (???) really happened!

WaPo ran a pretty story on the incident last year. Here's the link if you are interested: The men claimed they were abducted by aliens. In Mississippi, police believed them.

As I remember, it was right next to the shipyard, so it wasn't in a remote area. It was right on the river there in Pascagoula.
