Is there a third-party candidate?
Not even a 2nd party candidate ...
There isn't even a second party candidate. Wyandotte Co. is 80% the hood. Total democrat hellhole. No Republican is running against him. The Kansas GOP is not very effective, nor do they seem very bright. I don't live in Wyandotte Co but the Republican candidate for State Representative in my district came to my house campaigning. She told me she was basically no different than her democrat opponent. In fact, she told me, she had campaigned for her democrat opponent in years past. She moved to my area from Seattle many years ago. I called her out and she said that the Kansas GOP encouraged her to position herself as a moderate Republican in the campaign but she was really a conservative. Then she proceeds to tell me that she also voted for our current worthless democrat governor. It was truly mind-boggling.
