Fauci was correct. The mask is not great at protecting yourself. They are good at protecting others, like the people you are treating in a hospital. Because in the early stage of the pandemic, they needed the masks for hospital workers. Such workers have to change their masks often and go through a number of masks in a day. Fauci was thinking about mask shortages. He was worried that people would hoard them like we saw with toilet paper.
wrong. during the early part of the pandemic i had to wear a mask 5 consecutive shifts. The same mask. Now I am down to 3 shifts per mask

He’s flip flopped on numerous things, he NEVER offers back up/resources to his claims. He’s a career long, gov’t paper pusher who’s never seen/examed patients in his OWN doctor’s office.
