I believe California also bans more than half of the guns in America. So by extension of the same logic, it is un-Constitutional to ban those guns.

If you have been following this, they stress over and over again that a magazine is a firearm (functional part) that is in common use for lawful purposes, and therefore cannot be banned. All that is needed after this is to replace magazine, with “scary black rifle” and most of this will be in the dustbin of history.

If you read Benitez’s rulings since the beginning, it is all geared towards if it is in common use and used for lawful purposes it cannot be restricted due to the 2A.
