I was lectured by a woke woman on a trail this morning about how I shouldn’t be wearing a neck gaiter. That’s how far it has gone. A 100 woman giving a load of sh*t to a large redneck who is armed to the teeth. They are sooo entitled.
Really? A neck gaitor is a mask.
I'm actually loving this gaiter controversy. Did you see the flood of articles in the last week claiming gaiters are worse than not wearing a mask at all? Apparently they have a 110% inefficiency rating - where no mask at all is 100% and a perfect mask is 0%.
Although I am yet to be somewhere requiring a mask, if I had to it would be a gaiter. My anti-virtue statement. "Oh, I though they said I had to have a cloth covering my nose and mouth. Isn't this a cloth? Am I doing it wrong?" :)
Tell her she should have read more than the headline and it depends on what type and material of neck gaiter it is.
