No, the real reason is this: wearing masks is very popular with the democrat base. The democrat base has bought the narrative that wearing a mask is more about protecting others than protecting yourself. To them, it has become the highest form of selfishness to not wear a mask.
Exactly. More and more Americans are looking at the whole pandemic thing with suspicion — not that the virus isn’t real, but realizing that they’ve been manipulated and gaslighted by people with a vested interest in using it to crash the economy (just as happened when Mr. Biden ran in 2009, quelle conicidence!).
So the Dems will be looking for ways to pin all this on Trump. I can just hear them bawling about how they tried to stop him and desperately wanted to keep the country going.

Don’t buy it. This mask wearing routine is bs. If you were to plug up your cars tail pipe in very short order your cars engine would be toast. Wearing a mask is doing that to your sinuses.
