It seems to me that such a program is discriminatory and unfair. Shouldn’t all employees be treated the same?

The Supreme Court decision, led by Sandra Day O'Connor's vote, ruled in effect that discrimination against males or whites was okay because it upheld a good thing even though accomplished by an illegal method---said in mincy word but that was it. So no discrimination against female, or blacks, YES discrimination against whites and males. Allowing Affirmative Action including in college admissions and employment.
One of the saddest days in America. On FR that day I read one poster who said it was because O'Connor was getting revenge against men for being hurt in her law career at a certain job. Still bitter and too small to rise above personal vengeance. That's bad.
