I don’t understand why they keep herding cats night after night. They hit them on two sides and drive them away which just lets them circle back around and start again.

Not something to be taken lightly.
You can KILL a groundhog with a ballvearing from a strong slingshot, a ballbearing in the size of a 38 caliber bullet. We didn’t have rubber tubing so we used the rubber from tire tubes, doubled. At twelve I could barely pull it back to aim the weapon.
It’s past time to shoot about 30 or 40 of these idiots. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Shooting a ball bearing is equivalent to shooting a bullet. Cops’ lives are in danger, so they should shoot back.
...yeah, my experience has been with gun shot wounds, IED strikes, rocket explosions, limbs torn off... there wasn’t much golfing over in Iraq - huge sand trap though...
