I can save them a lot of research dollars. Make it available to people, but don’t pressure them to take it. Don’t lie about its effectiveness. If it’s helpful, people will go out of their way to take it. If it isn’t, why should they?

I know this idea is challenging for those who worship coercive government, but, hey, keep an open mind.

Oh, they are gonna lie their asses off about it's effectiveness. For one thing they really don't know how effective it will be. Can't possibly with the slap-dash way this thing has been rushed through development. Tony Fauci's guess of around 50% is probably generous. And nobody it gonna line up to roll the dice on an untested crapshoot of a vaccine.

Coercive government is required by two kinds of folks as far as my mind deduces:

Those who believe there is only so much freedom to go around and

Those who make it so.
