Why don’t the police close down the roads while the stores are being looted and keep the people in there until they can all be arrested? I read that some places there were cars dropping people off to go into the stores to loot and then come back and pick them up. The police can just blockade the ends of those blocks ..... if they cared about stopping the looting, that is.
They could have closed down the roads if the mayor or police chief wanted to. Their actions speak volumes.
It's a tactic to get Biden elected. "Hey yous don't want you city burned down, right? Then pay us - oops 'elect' us..."
