If I had a nickel for every time I corrected someone for using the wrong form of your and youre, or there, their and theyre, or can not for cannot, Id have 0.00. If I had a nickel for every time I saw the words written incorrectly, I be a millionaire.
There is no point; it just seems petty.
Here’s another reason to cut some slack: some of us have peeper problems, and while we know which form to use, we might not be able to easily see when autocorrect screws us over. 8-)
If you grade papers, it is worth spilling the red ink. Not so much on FR. We is edducated here.
